PEARL is constantly looking for qualified professional linguists to work as independent contractors in a freelance capacity.
If you are interested in registering with us as a translator, please download

If you are interested in registering with us as an interpreter, please download
an Interpreter Application Form.
To apply for both positions, you need to fill out both forms. Please send your
completed application forms to careers@pearllinguistics.comPearl Linguistics works with linguists from all around the world speaking every language and dialect. For some projects you may be required to complete a short test before you can work for PEARL in order to prove that you comply with the high standards we offer to our clients. Your CV should include the contact details of two professional referees that may be contacted before we proceed with your application. Your covering letter should clearly state your specialist areas and rates for the services you provide. Once you filled the Application Form you also need to sign the relevant Service Agreement which you will find at the end of each Application Form. Please note that we can not assign you for any work before the Service Agreement is signed. If you are applying as a freelance translator please note that we expect all translators to work only in their mother tongue. They should also have a PC and printer. If you are applying as a freelance interpreter, you should state if you are nationally and/or internationally mobile. If you are applying as a freelance transcriber, your CV should include at least two examples of transcription work you have done in the past 3 years. If you are applying as a freelance voice-over artist, voice demos should be provided with the application. Your demos must be produced professionally, home recordings are not generally acceptable. We prefer CDs, WAV audios and MP3s. You must include samples of all your strong voice style areas for a better chance of being chosen for a variety of work.
