PEARL is constantly looking for qualified professional linguists to work as independent contractors in a freelance capacity.
If you are interested in registering with us as a translator or an interpreter please send your CV to careers@pearllinguistics.com. Please note that hardcopy CVs will not be considered, therefore do not send your CVs to our office postal address.
If you are applying as a freelance interpreter, along with your CV please also send names and contact details of 2 professional referees (interpreting related) and a copy of your latest CRB certificate. If you have not had a CRB check done within the last 2 years, do let us know in your covering letter as we can do the application for you. CRB fee is covered by the interpreter. If you are applying as a freelance translator, along with your CV please also send names and contact details of 2 professional referees (translation related) and copies of any translation diplomas and accreditation certificates. Your covering letter should briefly state your source and target languages and specialisms*. Your CV should give detailed information on your qualifications and experience along with any technical capabilities including any CAT Tools used. Your application may not be considered if any of the requested information above is missing. Please note that sending your CV does not mean Pearl Linguistics will start using your services immediately. All applications are subject to approval. Further information may be requested at later stages of our recruitment process, you may be asked to complete a test and/or called for an interview. * We are mostly interested in legal translators, financial translators, medical translators, PR and marketing translators, Web and IT specialists and other technical translators.
